Since July, 2010, our Grassroots Organizers has been at the forefront of social and political change in Minnesota. Over the past decade, we have built a reputation for effective, people-powered campaigns that amplify community voices and drive meaningful results.
Our team has been instrumental in a range of victories—from helping elect the first Hmong-descent city council member to the Minneapolis City Council, to organizing and mobilizing volunteers across local and state initiatives. Over the last three election cycles, we’ve also worked to ensure the House DFL caucus retains control in swing districts, protecting representation in areas critical to our state’s future.
We do our work through hands-on grassroots organizing: speaking over a dozen languages, conducting voter registration drives, meeting people where they are, running earned and paid media campaigns, phone banking, text banking, door knocking, and engaging communities directly. Last summer, we ran a people-powered campaign to help elect Xp Lee to fill the special election race for the late Melissa Hortman. And just this past November, we played a key role in a political action committee (PAC) focused on keeping Minnesota’s largest school district accountable and free from Trump-aligned influence.
At Grassroots Organizers, our mission is clear: empower everyday people, build sustainable community power, and ensure that democracy works for everyone. We are more than a political consulting firm—we are a movement rooted in action, integrity, and results.
